This is slime like you’ve never seen before. No glue… no Borax… no messy mixing… just amazing! Just mix-up the Activator solution and squirt your favorite String Slime color into the liquid. The instant the two liquids touch, you get solid String Slime.
Remove the strings from the bowl and you’re ready to play. Snap the string in half to reveal the gooey center. Just dip the ends into the Activator solution to seal it back up.

What age is this activity best suited?
This activity is great for all ages. Both String Slime liquid and the Activator powder is safe to use as directed with adult supervision. Use String Slime as an introduction to chemical changes for young children while older children will learn about polymer science through the process of cross-linking long chains of molecules together.

This kit does include enough materials for 4 children. If you are not doing it all in one setting, save the liquid activator by putting it in an air tight container and store it in the fridge for later use. Also, be sure to put the lids back on the colored String Slime bottles so they don’t dry out.

Hi Debbie! Our classroom kit is for up to 24 students and comes with 2 liters of string slime. So I would suggest at least 1 liter of string slime for 12 kids.

Can I order more of the activator powder separately? Or is there an alternative to activate it?
Context: I’m a long-time loyal customer for both summer camp and my regular teaching job. Last summer, I bought string slime and gave each camper a plastic cup with water and activator. Then they could choose which two colors they wanted. I wound up with enough slime left over for this summer, but the activator crystals have liquified.
