A little more Electricity Science Kit
There’s a good chance you or someone in your family has a computer, cell phone, tablet, or some other kind of electronic device. Notice that word: “electronic.” It tells you that these devices use electrons to work. Sometimes electrons don’t move but build up in huge numbers. That’s static electricity and with this kit, you’ll discover more about it using your homemade Static Bottle. Moving electrons travel through conductors and are stopped by insulators and the Energy Stick identifies one from the other. The Energy Stick also tells when a circuit is complete when multiple liquids are connected by electron bridges. There are a lot of challenges to take on and discoveries to make when electrons are involved!
More about Water Science Kit
Discover the properties of air, air pressure and surface tension, while pleasing the crowd. The element of surprise is very important when you’re an amazing science teacher or curious student. Great for science fair demonstrations – a real crowd stopper.
About Newton Antic’s Science Kit
Newton was really good at connecting the dots of gravity, friction, and the way things move. The first of his Three Laws of Motion describes moving and stationary objects and how something called inertia is involved with both. All of the activities in this kit point to and illustrate Newton’s first law. Yes, they are very simple but whether it’s a falling hex nut (or five) or Stop-and-Go Spheres, they all obey the same law. You’ll be amazed when a string of beads ignores you completely and obeys Newton instead. Be sure to get videos of the activities so you can thank Newton in slow motion.
For Teachers, Parents, Grandparents, and All-Around Science Adults!
We haven’t forgotten about the STEM and STEAM initiatives you’ve been hearing about in our schools, bringing Science, Technology, Engineering, (Art), and Math together to make young scientists real thinkers!
Make a STEM Connection!
Let’s work together to inspire the next generation of scientists and engineers. At Steve Spangler Science, STEM is not just an acronym or a checklist of required subjects (science, technology, engineering, and math). Our STEM products encourage young scientists to create new and exciting experiences that foster the skills of collaboration, communication, critical thinking, and creativity.
