A little more about Magic Sand
Magic Sand May Look Like Ordinary Sand… but just try to get it wet!
Magic Sand begins as normal looking sand, until it’s dyed and coated with a substance that repels water. This coating keeps the sand dry even after it has been dumped into a container of water. Build castles and other structures under the water, then simply pour the water off when you’re finished and the sand is still dry! You can use it for fun science experiments again and again! Colors vary.

Make Gallons of Fluffy Snow in Seconds: The Original Fake Snow Polymer
Snow is a seasonal phenomenon; it can’t, however, be relocated inside for study and/or play. In some areas of the country, it doesn’t occur at all. So, when snow (and fun) is on the mind, let your kids or students experience hours of fun with one of these Steve Spangler Science Insta-Snow Powder Kits, delivering realistic and fluffy snow that can be dried out to reuse countless times. Just add water! Within seconds, the liquid/powder mixture turns into a solid and then erupts into a fluffy, white snow-like material (no mixing required). Watch in amazement as it instantly expands up to 100 times its original volume. Our Instant Snow Powder Kit is a true wonder and a super-cool learning aid for a multitude of settings and playtimes.
For Teachers, Parents, Grandparents, and All-Around Science Adults!
We haven’t forgotten about the new STEM and STEAM initiatives you’ve been hearing about in our schools, bringing Science, Technology, Engineering, (Art), and Math together to make young scientists real thinkers!
Make a STEM Connection!
Let’s work together to inspire the next generation of scientists and engineers. At Steve Spangler Science, STEM is not just an acronym or a checklist of required subjects (science, technology, engineering, and math). Our STEM products encourage young scientists to create new and exciting experiences that foster the skills of collaboration, communication, critical thinking, and creativity.
