They were almost perfect for what i needed them for. Big tall and comes with a stand. the reason i gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because it doesn’t say whether of not they are microwave safe and what kind of plastic they are. If they are pvc then microwaving them can let off harmful fumes.

I bought these for my lower elementary science class and they are wonderful. The size is great for little hands. The stand holds the two test tubes in such a way that the children can pour and experiment without the test tubes spilling, yet they are easy to get out of the stand, as well. They hold a lot of liquid, which is a wonderful plus. An incredible product!

Could you please tell me the maximum diameter of this tube? The specifications indicate 1.75 inches diameter, but I suspect that is for the tube itself. However there is a flange on the test tube just below the screw cap that may cause it to have a larger diameter at this point. The test tube must be able to pass completely through a two inch in diameter hole. Thank you.

Hi Michael. I would say you are correct! However, you should have no problem fitting the Jumbo Test Tube through the two inch space.
