Question
Jennifer Youngblood –
I’m reading the question regarding what items we need to provide separately and see that you listed a ladle and punch bowl with plastic cups. What part of the kit is this for? I’m trying to decide between this or the dry ice kit.

It is for serving dry ice punch at your party. This is optional, of course, but it’s always a huge hit!

Question
Jay Ryan –
Out of curiosity, are most of these items ‘already made’ or ‘just put in water and they appear’ types of things or could I sell this fun kit to administration as ‘real’ science experiments? Was thinking how much fun my kiddos would have with this around Halloween. Also, is this 5th grade appropriate? Thank you! 🙂

Jay, thanks for the comment. The Halloween Science Party kit is designed for a classroom and has over 12 activities that can be completed. We include an activity guide to walk you through each activity/experiment, which includes the science behind each activity. This is a great kit for a classroom or home setting. Enjoy the rest of the week. Joshua

Insta worms were great, jelly spheres were a hit but clear plastic bucket leaked right away
Steve –
We're sorry about any confusion involving the bucket, but it is not watertight. It's for that reason that, in the instructions, we include jars, bowls, and other containers. We don't want you making a mess by trusting the buckets! We're glad you liked all of the experiments, though.

Question
Denise Murphy –
Hi There!
Before I order this kit for my classroom, what additional items are needed from home? The information section on the website does not say.
Also, do I need to purchase any additional items to use with this kit to make the experiments work, or does it come with everything needed?
Thank you!
Denise Murphy

There is a section in the activity guide that you will receive that will tell you what materials you need to go. For this kit, you will need to provide: a metal object (fork, spoon, coins, etc), a stirring spoon, graph paper, a garbage bag, tape, Zipper-lock bags, waterproof flashlight (optional), kitchen scale (optional), foam cooler with loose fitting lid, small hammer, a small towel, flashlight, dry ice, ice cubes, apple juice (or any juice), dinner or paper plates, tongs, heavy gloves, room temperature water, paper towels, plastic punch bowl with serving ladle, clear plastic drinking glasses, and a strainer.

Hello Team Spangler, how I love, love, love your materials. My question is does all this come with a “script” (instructions) and do you sell it by itself. I have so many of the materials that I’ve purchased through the years, but through over time you’ve added different instruction booklets that come with kid instructions and parent/teacher instructions, which I do not have. How can I acquire these pages?

All of our products come with instructions, but we do not sell the instructions separately. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Question

What happened to the Boo Bubbles in this Halloween Kit? Does the sale price of $74.99 include the Boo Bubble Maker and Bubble Solution as it did before the sale, because they are no longer listed under “What’s Included” ? That would be a lousy trick!

Staff lisabrooks –
We had a Deluxe version of the Halloween Science Party kit that did include the Boo Bubble kit. Unfortunately, that kit has been discontinued. The Boo Bubbles kit is included in the Ultimate Dry Ice Science Kit, which is part of the Halloween sale.
