You guessed it… this frog grows to an enormous size when you soak it in water. The frog starts out 8 cm (3 in) long and grows to 23 cm (9 in). Remember, it grows in all directions, so this frog is huge. Dry it out (if you’re patient and careful) and watch it return to its original size.
The difference between our product and that of our competition is that we include a comprehensive activity guide which provides valuable activities and classroom connections to help demonstrate the scientific principles behind our growing creatures.
Ages 3 and up.
Just add water. Let your frog sit in the water for two weeks and watch him grow to a whopping 9 inches long!
Why did it fall apart?
If your water is too hot, it will cause the creatures to disintegrate. While warm water works best, make sure that it isn’t too hot.
Why does it have a hole in its belly?
The hole is to let water into the creature, since it is hollow, and allows all sides of the polymer to grow evenly.
How long will it last?
As long as the creatures are handled carefully, they will last for a long time. Since you are able to take it out of the water and have it evaporate, you will be able to regrow it numerous times.
Why is it “leaking” polymer?
The skin is packed so tight that some excess tends to leak off.
How long does it take to grow to its full size?
About a week and a half to two weeks. It makes the perfect activity to measure every day to see how much it has grown over one day.
Is it reusable?
Absolutely. Take the creature out of the water and, depending on how humid your climate is, it should take about 3 weeks to a month to shrink to its original size.

I have used this product in my classroom for the last two years. The kids love it and it is a great way to teach them about measurement.

I’m a stay at home mom who was a former teacher! So we have school at home and we do science everyday this was awesome! We measured it daily, charted it and got to feel the different textures. My little man loves it!!!! Thank u for such a cool project

We’ve had ours in a large bowl of cold water now for 5 hours and it’s feet have grown a little bit, but that’s it. 🙁
The top picture is when we first put it into the bowl, the bottom picture is of our frog, 5 hours later.
